This is a simple boring head. The large cap screw adjusts and locks the dovetail. The small setscrew front and back are used to adjust the position of the boring head.

I have the Sherline boring head but I find it difficult to work with and there is quite a bit of flex in the body and the HSS tool. The usual 2quot; Chinese or Indian stuff are just too long and bulky to use on a Taig.
